Our brain stores information in neurons or generally cells. The surroundings, learnings and new skills effect the life span of neurons.
Frequently used skills, memories and tasks associated with brain keep alive those neurons which transfers informations regarding those stuff.
Formation of new cell(neurons) depends on the ability to store information. Memorising a thing is very tedious and it goes through a whole process in which information is passed through different sectors of the brain. Therefore many types of memories are formed in our brain.

All the information is stored in form of synapses(pictures).

Cordova viewport problem solved
