Mario and Contra are those games which everychild must have played in his childhood.And those who haven't played it yet have absolutely missed something important.These games are the most popular games which are being still played even after 28 years of their making.Amazed.....!!!!!Both the games were made almost 28 years ago and there are a number of versions of Mario video games.Contra was actually created as a coin-operated game which was very popular arcade game.Almost 6000 machines of contra game were plotted so you can now its popularity.



Super Mario is the most famous game till now which has made a revenue of almost 200 million dollars.Super mario was originally released in Japan in 1985.It was the first version of Mario series.There are total eight worlds with 4 sub-levels each.

Mushroom: Goomba

Contra is one of the most famous arcade games of 1990's.One actually feels like a commando while playing this game.A number of weapons and a limited number of lives which makes it challenging to complete a stage.This game consists of Side-view and front-view stages.The character can move, jump and fire in eight directions.There are villians who throw grenades and fires bullets and lasers.Player's character get unlimited ammunation which is quite helpful but whenever a life is lost the current weapon is also lost.

2nd commando: Lance "scorpion" bean
Weapons

  • Machine Gun:auto-fires repeatedly while the fire button is pressed
  • Laser gun:Fires one shot of energy in one fire.

  • Rapid Fire:Increases bullet speed.
  • Barrier:Temporary invincibility.
